Paper To Pearls (via ellievanhoutte)
Paper to Pearls is a project of “Voices of Global Change” that sells jewelry crafted from recycled paper that is handcrafted by women in refugee camps in Uganda. Almost all of the proceeds from the jewelry is returned directly to the women so that they can become independent and provide educational opportunities for their children. Learn more at www.papertopearls.org/. Photographs taken at the DC Green Festival on November 7, 2008.
